How do I make a payment for a Konga.com purchase?

Konga.com offers multiple methods to make payments for your order:
 

i. Pay on Delivery:

  1. Cash Payment: We accept cash on delivery of your ordered item(s) only to a maximum of N100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira Only) only in select Local Government Areas. Click here to see the LGAs covered. There is also a link on the checkout page to view this list
  2. Point of Service (POS) Payment: We accept Visa, Verve and Mastercard using our secure POS terminals on delivery of your ordered item(s). There is no maximum or minimum limit on the transaction amount on this payment method.

Walk into any Zenith Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank or any of the underlisted banks nationwide to credit your Konga.com wallet by paying cash into any of our accounts listed below and following these easy steps.

Are there any hidden charges when I make a purchase on Konga.com

There are absolutely no hidden charges when you make a purchase with Konga.com.  We offer free delivery on every order above N5,000 within the Lagos Metropolis, otherwise you will be charged an additional N500 for delivery within Lagos. Free delivery also extends to other locations outside Lagos Metropolis for every order that above N15,000, otherwise there will be a delivery fee ranging between N1,450 and N1,950. The prices listed for all items are final and all-inclusive. The prices you see on our product pages are exactly what you pay for the item.

 

What is Pay on Delivery?

Pay-on-Delivery (P-o-D) is an alternate method of purchasing from us, other than Online (By Debit card and Netbanking). In the P-o-D payment terms or P-o-D service, you pay at the time of the actual delivery with cash or by using our Point of Service (POS) terminal, rather than paying in advance. This is currently available in certain areas of Lagos

 

Are there any hidden terms and conditions for a P-o-D purchase?

The maximum order value for a cash P-o-D payment is N100,000. There is no limit on the POS P-o-D payment. It's strictly a cash or debit card only payment method; e-Gift Vouchers cannot be used for P-o-D orders.
Please note, we do not accept foreign currency as payment against a P-o-D order.

 

How do I pay using a Debit card and is it safe?

We accept all cards such as VISA, Verve and MasterCards - only Nigerian cards are supported and not International. Customers will need to key in their 16-digit Debit Card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value - found on the back of the card) and complete the payment flow.
All Debit card details remain confidential and private. Konga.com and our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

We accept Debit Cards issued by all the Nigerian banks.

 

Wallet

Your Konga.com wallet is similar to a real life wallet where you can store money against your purchases. You make payments from your wallet if it has been loaded through bank transfers, bank deposits, promotional credits or simply giving cash to our dispatch riders at the point of delivery.

You can also use your wallet to make part payments against an order and pay the balance using our P-O-D (Pay-on-Delivery) option.
 

Placing a Pay-on-Delivery (P-o-D) Order

  1. All items that have the "Pay-on-Delivery Available" Icon are valid for order by Pay-on-Delivery. Add the item(s) to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. When prompted to choose a Payment Option, select "Pay By Pay-on-Delivery"
  3. Enter CAPTCHA text as shown, for validation.
  4. Once verified and confirmed and be processed for shipment in the time specified, from the date of confirmation.
  5. You will be required to make payment by cash or POS to our Courier Partner, only at the time of delivery of your order.
