Ensure the input voltage is sufficiently higher than the target output voltage.
Output Current Adjustment (Constant Current Mode)
This procedure sets the maximum output current. When the load attempts to draw more current than this set value, the module will enter constant current mode, limiting the current to the set value and reducing the output voltage as necessary.
Connect the input power source.
Set the output voltage to approximately 5V using the "VIADJ" potentiometer (as described in Section 5.1).
Locate the constant current potentiometer labeled "IADJ" (refer to Figure 4.1).
Turn the "IADJ" potentiometer counter-clockwise approximately 10 full turns to set the current to its minimum value. Note: At this minimum setting, the power supply may temporarily have no output voltage. This is normal.
Connect a multimeter or ammeter in series with the output (or short-circuit the output with the multimeter in 10A/20A current measurement mode, ensuring the multimeter can handle the expected current).
Slowly turn the "IADJ" potentiometer clockwise until the multimeter displays the desired maximum output current.
Remove the multimeter from the short-circuit condition and connect your actual load. The module will now limit the current to the set value.
Maintenance
