How To Use It

 

Please, follow this three (3) easy steps to set up your universal tv remote control

 

Put the Tv on and insert an accurate battery size into the remote control.

Press and hold down the SET key on the remote control until a RED LIGHT comes up.

Type the first 3 codes of your tv brand (the 3 digit code is inside the manual). This code must me quickly typed or pressed before the RED LIGHT goes off

After the three steps above, press from 1-9 or the volume down or up key to confirm wether the remote is working or not.

FOR EXAMPLE

 

To set up this remote for a sharp tv that has no particular remote

 

Switch my tv on and insert a battery into the remote

Remove the manual inside the carton

Press and hold down the SET BUTTON until it turns RED

Type or press 003 before the RED light goes off

After the red light goes off, press the volume key to see if the remote is working.

ALTERNATIVELY

 

There is list of brands of TV on the remote control. So all you have to do is to press and hold down the key that has your on brand of TV, until RED light turns on. After the RED light turns off, press any part of the remote to see if its working with your TV. Example, If you are using Hitachi TV, Press and hold down the key with HITACHI written on it, that is the 7 key.
